Position summary:
The position is primarily responsible to ensures the safe receipt, storage, picking and dispatch
of product in line with company processes procedures and delivery schedules.
Job Summary:
Taking fruit out of the ripening rooms and vice versa.
Ensure product is to the required specification and promptly address any issues.
Order picking.
Product labelling.
Loading and unloading lorries & containers.
Ensure all paperwork and systems are completed accurately in accordance with company
procedures.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene protocols within the working areas.
Other duties within production and warehouse to be covered as and when required.
Key skills:
- Must have a good attention to detail
- Must have a positive attitude and be extremely reliable
- Ability to work under pressure, and to deadlines
- Punctual with excellent timekeeping and attendance
- Flexible and proactive approach to tasks.
- Computer literate.
The role involves lifting, strapping of pallets and use of ride on pallet trucks.
Previous experience working in a warehouse environment is an advantage, but not essential as
full training will be provided.
Working hours - Sunday to Friday - 7am - 4pm.
Pay rate - £13 per hour.
